Liberty Mutual Insurance has announced key executive appointments in a move marking “an important chapter for the company,” according to chairman and chief executive David Long.
“These new executive leadership appointments better position us now and in the future as a leading global insurer and will help us capitalize on opportunities across our businesses,” stated the CEO.
“I continue to be extremely proud of the commitment shown by our employees and leadership to accelerate innovation, prioritize digital-first and data-driven results, and harness our full resources to provide excellent service to our customers around the world.”
Below are the details of the leadership shake-up, which comes ahead of Dennis Langwell’s retirement at the end of 2021. The appointments are effective on July 01.

Langwell, meanwhile, said it’s “a true honor” to have been part of Liberty Mutual for more than two and a half decades.
