To help Texan communities devastated by the recent winter storms, Allstate is extending its claims processing capabilities in the state.
The insurer has deployed six mobile claim centers in the most heavily damaged areas of Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. Each center incorporates COVID-19 safety measures and will help customers expedite the claims process, as well as answer any insurance questions they may have.
“Allstate leads in helping customers recover from this extreme weather with fast claim services through the Allstate Mobile app, advanced photo and video technology and instant payments to customers,” said Allstate executive vice president and chief claims officer Eric Brandt. “Bringing our mobile claim centers to the area will make it easier for people to start rebuilding their lives.”
In addition to the mobile claim centers, Allstate also announced that its Allstate Foundation will be providing financial support to nonprofits helping storm-affected residents in underserved communities. The foundation will also match Allstate employee and agent donations to eligible non-profits – up to $1,000 per donor per year.
